Is Cirque Announcing La Nouba’s Closing Later This Week?

Another year, another rumor suggesting La Nouba is closing. This time, however, the rumor might just be true. We had previously heard from a few La Nouba employees and artists that the show will be closing at the end of this year. Even though it was not official, the news was no secret amongst the Cirque fans. But according to WDW News Today, an announcement is expected later this week. WDW News Today states that ‘upcoming promotional materials for the show talk about giving guests the opportunity to see La Nouba “one last time”.’

There has been no word on what show will replace La Nouba, or if it’ll even be a Cirque show. La Nouba’s closing means we’re one step closer to losing all the “classic” Dragone era shows, with Mystere and O being the only Dragone directed Cirque shows left.

La Nouba is expected to close on December 31, 2017, but we’ll just have to wait for the official announcement from Cirque. It’s safe to say, however, if you haven’t seen La Nouba, you better start making your way down to Orlando as soon as possible.
